Just-In-Flowers
A phrase independent florists hear all too often
"They're cheaper in the supermarket".
Yes! your correct they are sometimes cheaper in the supermarket however,
price should not be the deciding factor when it comes to comparing your local florist with a supermarket.
Florists select the blooms themselves, taking time to consider the grade, or quality, of each bloom. Supermarkets on the other hand overproduce resulting in a sell them cheaper approach. This often means they will sell shorter stem length and smaller head sized flowers. But the florist grade bloom is much larger and more enticing. In short, pay less, get less.
Your florist will carefully arrange and package your flowers, include a hand written card message and deliver them to your door. Supermarket flowers are often wrapped by a machine - yes really! And you get none of the finishing touches you'd get from your florist.
If you had an issue, your florist would sort it! whereas the supermarkets you have the hassle of going back, probably getting a refund and being sent on your way. Florist know how important it is to buy quality and give the recipient the flowers they deserve.
We don't think there's ever much reason where you should choose a supermarket over a florist! Unless your looking at saving a few pounds is your only deciding factor.
If you're looking for quality, care and and that special arrange bouquet then a florist is a must. they will take the time and passion in creating your bouquet.
